Her father Calypso II is one of the best sires in Germany and every breeder can be lucky to have one of his daughters in his stable. His offspring have excelled with great jumping scores and best ridebility. In Hannover and Holstein Calypso II made great sons and famous horses with international stature. His most important son is certainly Contender, who makes licensed stallions and top jumping horses in a row.
Calmia made a very good performance test with three years and got nearly in all parts the mark 8 or better. She got the state premium and she herself is mother of three licensed sons, was of course isn't common. Already her first foal was selected for the stallion market in Verden and was bouth from the state stud in the first lot. In the news magazine of Hannover was written that this "Glückstreffer" is a type of horse, everyone would like.
The other licensed sons are sired by Stakkato, whereas on of these sadly died too early. He should have been stationated at the state stud in Celle.
Her now 9 year old daughter "Scila Hoy", also sired by Stakkato, is now international successful!

In the motherline there are highly interesting jumping genes passed on by the Pik König son Picard and Gotthard and Poet xx, whereby Calmia through Picard's mother is an inbreed of the legendary Gotthard. Further six licensed stallions are out of this motherline (Cardano v.Calypso II/Gimpel/Graphit; Rhytmo v.Ritual/Wanderer/Colorado x; Wiener Star v. Wienerwald/ Weinstock/Prinz Gaylord; Santorin v.Sandro/Wienerwald/Gotthard u.w.)
